What will you do As an Mechanical Architect- Body & Structure?

As an Mechanical Architect- Body & Structure at Ebusco, you define at the vehicle level, the body and structure architecture is determined, leading to an innovative and sustainable bus construction. You translate vehicle concepts into robust, lightweight and manufacturable designs, ensuring all systems work together seamlessly. From roadmap to final design, you act as the technical guardian — balancing innovation, quality, safety and efficiency.Your key responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the body & structure vehicle architecture;
  • Develop roadmaps aligned with Ebusco’s product and technology strategy;
  • Set up and review vehicle-level requirements from your discipline;
  • Guide engineering teams from concept to final design, ensuring architectural integrity;
  • Participate in design and safety reviews, mitigating risks and making key decisions;
  • Collaborate closely with production and manufacturing engineering to ensure manufacturability.

What do we ask from you?

  • Deep knowledge of materials (composites, metals, adhesives, welding);
  • Strong understanding of vehicle architecture and system integration;
  • Ability to lead and motivate technical teams;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Fluent in English, German preferred.
