As IT Manager at Ebusco, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT team and the overall IT landscape. You ensure continuity, reliability, and alignment with business priorities.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset: you actively identify opportunities for improvement, take ownership beyond your formal scope, and turn ideas into concrete results. You don’t wait for direction, you create it.
You play a key role in translating business demand into clear IT roadmaps, concrete actions, and measurable outcomes. You manage suppliers, contracts, and budgets, while advising senior management on technology choices, risks, and investments. You balance stability with innovation and know when to challenge the organization to move forward.
Your responsibilities at a glance
- Manage the daily operations of the IT team;
- Act as the primary link between business and IT;
- Advise senior management on technology investments and risks;
- Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization;
- Coordinate system upgrades, migrations, and deployments;
- Manage change control and minimize business disruption;
- Work with suppliers, consultants, and third-party providers;
- Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers;
- Negotiate contracts and manage renewals;
- Communicate IT initiatives and system status to stakeholders;
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures;
- Ensure proper documentation of systems, processes, and configurations;
- Support audits and governance initiatives.
What do we ask from you
- To be able to communicate well in both Dutch and English;
- Proactive mindset;
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility — you take accountability and see things through;
- Hands-on mentality: you don’t just define plans, you actively drive execution;
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role;
- Experience managing IT projects end-to-end;
- Change management and system implementation experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience);
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills;
- Customer-service mindset;
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in simple terms;
- Strong documentation and reporting skills;
- Audit support and documentation management.
