We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer specializing in Model-Based Software Development to join our Software Engineering department and contribute to the development of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems within the automotive industry. In this role, you will design, implement, and validate PLC software using model-based development environments for the HMI of electric vehicles. You will ensure that software components meet functional requirements within the vehicle’s E/E architecture, from initial model design through to in-vehicle validation.
What we’re looking for...
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Model-Based Development using Logi.CAD or Simulink;
- Experience with HMI design and user interface development, preferably with CGI Studio;
- Solid knowledge of automotive systems, electric vehicle architectures, and vehicle networks;
- Extensive knowledge of CAN Bus and SAE J1939; knowledge of LIN and UDS protocols is a plus;
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, data logging, and signal analysis using Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer;
- Hands-on experience with Aumovio development environments (formerly Continental);
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Systems Engineering and Test/Validation teams to successfully integrate software requirements into the vehicle;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies;
- A collaborative and resilient team player with excellent communication skills;
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field;
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
