The Manager of Project Management will lead a team Project Managers responsible for delivering electric bus projects from contract signing to after-sales handover. This includes overseeing pre-production, production, on-time part delivery, shipping, and final delivery to clients, with manufacturing operations based in China.
The role requires the implementation of Lean management principles to drive operational excellence, fostering a collaborative, customer-centric culture
in a speak-up environment where team members are empowered to identify opportunities and solutions. The Manager will prioritize developing their team, building self-confidence and growth, while maintaining clear communication and strategic alignment with the COO and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, extensive project management experience, and a passion for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Project Managers to deliver successful projects, foster a collaborative culture, and support skill development in Lean management, customer-centricity, and operational excellence.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring KPIs are met, resolving escalations, and addressing supply chain risks while driving efficiency through Lean principles.
- Champion a client-first approach by aligning projects with customer expectations, leading professional kick-off meetings, and addressing concerns to build trust and satisfaction.
- Develop standardized processes and tools, embed Lean principles, and drive operational excellence through efficiency and quality improvements.
- Establish governance frameworks, track KPIs, monitor risks, and provide senior leadership with clear updates on project performance and strategic alignment.
- Support Ebusco’s growth by aligning project management practices with company goals, identifying risks and trends, and proposing innovative solutions to maintain project excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years in project management, including 2+ years managing a team, with expertise in Lean management, operational excellence, and international manufacturing projects (China experience preferred).
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools like MS Project or Jira, with strong knowledge of supply chain, engineering change management, and international logistics.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication abilities, fostering a collaborative, speak-up culture with a customer-centric mindset and strategic problem-solving approach.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin as a strong advantage.
- Willing to travel internationally and manage operations across multiple time zones.
