Job description
The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of electric buses, ensuring an integrated process from contract signing to client handover and Ebusco After Sales. This includes overseeing pre-production, production, on-time part delivery to the overseas outsourced manufacturer, shipping, and final delivery to clients. The role requires active management of engineering changes, the setup of a robust escalation model, and a professional project kick-off involving clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with cross-cultural sensitivity, a customer-centric approach, and a deep understanding of production, logistics, and supplier collaboration processes.
- Take ownership after contract signing, organize kick-off meetings, define scope, and mitigate risks;
- Coordinate on-time part delivery, manage supplier relations, and oversee production schedules with overseas manufacturers;
- Manage engineering updates, ensuring timely communication, approval, and integration into production;
- Develop and implement an escalation model to resolve critical issues efficiently;
- Oversee shipping and logistics, ensuring on-time, cost-effective delivery while complying with regulations;
- Act as the primary client contact, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth delivery and handover;
- Facilitate transition post-delivery, ensuring all technical and operational information is documented;
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to align processes and address challenges;
- Track project KPIs, report progress to stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years in project management within manufacturing, automotive, or related sectors, with experience in overseas production (China preferred);
- Proficient in manufacturing processes, supply chain, engineering change management, and project tools like MS Project or Jira;
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities, with cross-cultural sensitivity and stakeholder management expertise;
- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage;
- Willingness to travel frequently and work across time zones.
