What will you do?As a Mechanical Engineer – Chassis at Ebusco, you are responsible for the design, development, and validation of structural components in our electric buses. You will ensure that the load-carrying chassis remains strong, lightweight, and cost-efficient. You collaborate with System Owners, CAD engineers, and FEM analysts to deliver world-class sustainable transport solutions.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and develop chassis components and subsystems;
- Define technical requirements and align with relevant stakeholders;
- Create models, drawings, and specifications (using Siemens NX);
- Work closely with FEM analysts on structural calculations;
- Support integration with the overall vehicle architecture;
- Analyse test results and implement design improvements.
What do we ask of you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar;
- 3+ years of experience in chassis development or mechanical design;
- Skilled in FEM, FMEA, DfA/DfM and CAD (Siemens NX);
- Experience with stainless steel structures and welding is mandatory;
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
