
What will you do as a HSE Officer?As an HSE Officer at Ebusco in Deurne, you will be the driving force behind health, safety and environment within our organisation. You will be present on the shop floor every day to foster a strong safety culture, conduct incident investigations and follow up on Safety Reports. You will also be responsible for risk assessments, workplace inspections, hazardous substances management and environmental analyses such as CO₂ calculations. In addition, you will play a key role in developing and improving HSE procedures, maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, and coordinating with local authorities and environmental services. You will also lead the emergency response organisation (BHV), manage PPE and first aid equipment, and contribute to sustainability planning based on the UN SDGs.
Your responsibilities at a glance:
- Provide daily support on the shop floor and promote a strong safety culture;
- Conduct incident investigations, risk assessments and follow up on Safety Reports;
- Develop and improve HSE procedures, work instructions and management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001);
- Carry out workplace inspections, HSE checks and environmental analyses (including CO₂ calculations);
- Report to stakeholders and collaborate with production, compliance and external authorities.
What do we ask of you?
- Completed MVK (intermediate safety training) or equivalent qualification;
- Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical production environment;
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (ARBO, Environmental Law, hazardous substances);
- Strong command of Dutch and English language;
- Structured and proactive working attitude.
