Job description
For the position of Lead Mechanic in our PDI (pre delivery inspection) workshop Venray we are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for automotive. As Lead Mechanic you are responsible for the total inspection of the bus before delivery to the customer. You also manage a team of about 5-7 colleagues and coordinate the work.
- You carry out work/modifications based on a to-do list:
- You build components and systems on and in the bus;
- You manage and coach your team;
- You are alert to points of improvement and report them to the Foreman Production;
- You work closely with the Quality Controller, Quality Inspector, the Production Planner and your immediate supervisor the Foreman Production.
Requirements
- You have an MBO working and thinking level with a technical background;
- You have completed training as a 1st Automotive Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician;
- You have experience in a similar role;
- You have knowledge of measuring and testing equipment;
- You have basic knowledge of Electronics, Mechanics and Hydraulics. Knowledge of High Voltage installations is an advantage;
- You have a background in or a passion for automotive;
- You are result-oriented and critical of your own work;
- You master the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
