Job description

Are you ready for a multifaceted role where you'll coordinate not only the installation of Customer IT systems in buses but also drive collaboration with the Engineering and Production departments? As Workshop Coordinator Customer IT, you will lead a team responsible for installing various systems such as destination signs, fleet management systems, payment systems, surveillance cameras, counting systems, and ensuring their seamless integration into our vehicles' electrical and mechanical design. Your role extends beyond mere supervision; you'll be crucial in ensuring progress, quality, and safety, all while maintaining open channels of communication with key departments like Engineering, PDI, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality.

The challenge lies in the fact that you will be instrumental in refining this department, connecting with adjacent departments and therewith streamline operational processes and enhance productivity. Strong organizational skills and effective communication are important.

  • You will oversee and manage a team of 10-15 mechanics;
  • Adaptability is crucial as you'll navigate through workload fluctuations;
  • You monitor and report on the progress;
  • You can work in a structured manner and ensure the documentation of work finished

Requirements

  • You can read Engineering design documents, including 2D schematics and 3D drawings;
  • You can transform them towards work instructions;
  • You are not afraid to translating Engineering designs into practical work instructions;
  • You check and monitor the quality;
  • You are flexible, result-oriented and critical of your own work;
  • You identify possible problems and take appropriate action in collaboration with your team;
  • You have a good command English languages, both verbally and in writing;
  • The German language is a great advantage.
